After the disappointment caused by the the Golf IV GTI less powerful than the previous generation’s VR6, Volkswagen finally reacted in 2002 and brought out the Golf R32. With its 18” rims and its 3.2L V6 pushing 241 hp thanks to its 4WD “4Motion”, the R32 finally gives the GTI fans something to talk about and be proud of (unlike its predecessor with barely 150hp under the bonnet). Originally designed to be a limited series of 5000 units, Volkswagen ended up producing more than 14000 following its success!
