Renault Sport is finished! From now, Alpine will be in charge of the sporty versions of Renault models. This new partnership will begin with the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, renamed A290 by Alpine. The β is a show car from the Dieppe-based brand, presented in 2023. It previews what the production model will look like. This little 100% electric sports car also marks the start of a new chapter for Alpine. The French manufacturer will be retiring its A110 and combustion-powered models to concentrate on electric cars. The A290 is the first model in this new era.
