In the 90s, the battle of the minivans is raging. The Renault Espace started the trend in Europe and many manufacturers tried to compete with the French model. Fiat decided to pay tribute to a vehicle from the 50s and 60s, the Fiat 600 Multipla. Thus, a modernized version is designed by Roberto Giolito and is released in 1998. The design caused a lot of discussion, good and bad, and the position of the gear lever on the dashboard was seen as an important innovation. More than 300,000 Multipla cars were sold, proof that despite the criticisms of its " shape ", this monospace car is popular! Recently, the Multipla is repopularized thanks to the Youtubers Vilebrequin who decide to make an extreme version developing 1000 horsepower!
