Renault 4L JP4 1987
The Renault 4L is a car that needs no introduction. However, the JP4 version may be unfamiliar to you. In 1981, the Brittany-based company CAR Système (Construction Automobile de Redon) decided to market a Buggy based on the 4L. In this case, the doors were removed, the car was shortened, a roll bar was added, the body was raised, the tyres were wider and the wings were widened to give this unique 4L a slightly different look. This Breton model was sold between 1985 and 1990 in Renault dealerships. The kit cost 15,000 francs (currently €4,426) and the JP4 was offered in three different finishes: Belle Ile, Nœud Pap, and BeBop. In the end, 2,000 4L JP4s found buyers.
