Renault 19 16S Cabriolet Rouge Persan 1991
Making its debut in 1991, it renewed a lost tradition of making open top cars with Renault that had not been seen since the ageless Caravelle. The car was a resounding success, and its form was stunning to look at, as it did not have a roll bar, something quite rare back in the day. With the R19, Renault took on the German brands, and this was clear from their decision to have it produced in the Karmann factories, known primarily for its work on Renault's main rival, the Volkswagen Golf Cab. The 16S variant of the car took it to the next level with its 1.8L engine of 140 horsepower.
