The Alpine GTA (for Gran Tourisme Alpine, no link with the famous video game) in its Le Mans finish is the "ultimate" version. Launched in 1990, it accompanied this model during its last year of commercialisation. Initially planned for 300 units, 325 were finally sold. With its body kit recognizable at first sight, the Le Mans prefigures the future of Alpine and the A610 which is launched the following year.
