BMW E36 M3 Light Weight AlpinWeiss 1995
BMW M3 Lightweight (also known as the M3 CSL) is a specific to the U.S. market based on the M3 coupe e36 3.0L and produced at only 114 copies. The engine is a special version of the S50 for export to the U.S. market, developing only 240 hp, but compensated by a very light weight (150 kg less than the standard M3) thanks to aluminum doors, removal of the air conditioning, radio ... in short, a car designed more for circuit use. Available only in white (Alpine White III) with an embellishment in the colors of BMW Motorsport International. As an extra, the M3 LTW could receive the same large spoiler as the European GTs, an even lower chassis with adjustable body height and grooved brake discs.
