Pack Rally Renault 17 Monte-Carlo 1975
In 1975, for the Monte Carlo Rally, Alpine Renault entered several A110s, as well as a Renault 17 in the official colors. The latter was entrusted to Jean-François Piot, a driver who had made a name for himself in recent years with Alpine, Ford and Renault. In '75, his season began in Monte Carlo as an official Renault driver. He took a fine fifth place and won his Group! The Assistance team included a number of Renault vehicles, including the 12 Break. This one is prepared for its new role: it is reinforced and has a Gordini engine developing 125hp. It's ideal for towing Piot's R17 and its 990ks on the winding roads of the South of France.
