Renault Spider Titan Grey 647 1999
This original model has its origins in the Laguna Roadster concept of the early 1990s. Four years later, the W94 project went into development following approval by Renault's CEO of the period, Louis Schweitzer. The model went into production in the summer of ‘95, after being officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show a few months earlier. The Spider marked the beginning of the Renault Sport era. The French manufacturer's sports unit took over from Alpine at the Dieppe plant. This atypical project won over the public and demonstrated Renault's creativity in the 90s. The brand went so far as to launch a single-brand cup, the Renault Sport Spider Elf Trophy, for its creation! A total of 1,700 Spiders were produced in four years. A success story for a model that has been a collector's item since its launch!
