Renault Clio Ph.1 16S Rouge Vif 1995
When it came out the Renault Clio 165 had the difficult task of bearing the mantle of the Super5 GT Turbo series, as well as remaining a rival for the 205 GTI. Marking the end of an era for small turbo compressed sports cars, the Clio adopted a different style with a 16-valve engine. With its modern aesthetic, ultra-efficient chassis and an engine pushing 140 horsepower, it weighed in at an impressively light 975 kg and was very successful in rallies. It even cast some shade on its elder, the R19 16S.
