When you think of Sébastien Loeb, you immediately imagine a Citroën, or a Ford Puma to keep up with the latest news. But did you know that the nine-time world rally champion had also driven a Renault? It was in 2000, during two appearances in the French Asphalt Rally Championship while he was competing in the gravel championship in a Saxo Kitcar and just before making his WRC debut at the wheel of a Toyota Corolla! At the Rouergue - Aveyron - Midi-Pyrénées Rally in 2000 he finished 4th with this Mégane Maxi and then, a few weeks later, he finished 5th at the Mont-Blanc Morzine Rally. Proof that the career of the greatest French rally driver still has some surprises in store for us!
