Héritière de la Peugeot 205 Rallye, petite soeur dépouillée de la cultissime 205 GTI, la 106 Rallye reprend le flambeau des petites sportives efficaces de Sochaux. Commercialisée en Novembre 1993, la Rallye est dotée des stickers sportifs mais dépouillée des éléments de confort pour offrir l’essentiel, un poids contenu. La phase 2 profite du restylage de la 106 pour évoluer en profondeur. Le moteur 1,3 litres est remplacé par un 1600 cm3 de 103 chevaux issu de la version XSi. Disponible uniquement en 3 portes, on pouvait la commander en blanc, bleu ou noire.
