The E12 M535i is the only series 5 officially finalized by BMW Motorsport. She is equipped with 6 in line cylinders of 3453cm3 of the 735i E23 and 635CSi E24, which deliver 218hp at 5200rpm, with a short manual tranmission and locked differential. Externally, apart from it's 14" alloy rims, this M535i distinguishes itself from other models by a M-Technic kit comprising of a lower front bumper, protective strips devoid of chrome, a wing in rubber and lateral and front stripes in tricolour "Motorsport". On the inside, the M535i has Recaro sports seats and a small 3 spoke sterring wheel borrowed from the M1.
