The 308 GTB was more often seen on the Promenade de la Croisette (a well-known promenade in Cannes) than in rallies… And yet a certain number of private teams did compete with this car. Its manufacturer, Maranello, saw no point in having it officially participated in Group B Rallying. This Ferrari would, consequently, stay in the shadows for most of its career. A far cry from the limelight its brethren are normally given.
