The number 20 Fiat from the Monte Carlo of 1979 was the only representative of the Ritmo range. Designed by Abarth, it was entrusted to the Bettega-Perissinot duo, and was registered the Group 2 Touring category. This Ritmo proudly wore its Italian colors with the sponsorship of a transalpine airline. While this experience in rallying resulted in a forfeit, it did not prevent the Ritmo Abarth from having a series produced. The Ritmo Abarth was a massive hit and would be produced until 1987.
