Depending on the region, the 280ZX bears different names: Datsun 280ZX for the US and Australia; Nissan S130 or Fairlady Z in Japan. In France, the coupé Z was distributed under the name Nissan Datsun 280ZX. It would be the last Datsun to grace the French market with its presence, as Nissan definitively transitioned to the eponymous name of its brand afterwards. The Datsun 280 ZX is the heir of the 240 Z. While the windows and the interior might have been reminiscent of the seventies, the technical performances of the car were very much in line with other models of the time.
