At the start of the 1980s, Ford Europe offered a second phase to its small city car called “Fiesta”. Launched in the middle of the previous decade, this model was a real success. This was true both on the streets of England and on the rally stages. The XR2 was the first sporty version introduced to the Fiesta family. It differed with its two pairs of round headlights, its widened fenders, its spoiler and its 13-inch aluminium rims. The XR2 screen printing completes the visual transformation of the car into a small sports jewel.
