At Volkswagen, the 'R' range refers to the sports versions of the brand's models. With the success of SUVs, it is not surprising to see the German manufacturer launching an 'R' version of its Tiguan, one of the most popular models in the catalogue. The Tiguan R uses the same 2.0L turbo engine as the Arteon R and the Golf 8 R. This "intermediate" SUV develops 320hp and is distinguished by its lower suspension, 21" wheels, sports brakes and twin exhausts.
