With its impressive headlights and very aerodynamic look, the Alpine GTA managed to impose itself as the replacement to the A310. The V6 Turbo variant made its mark in 1986, not without a few aesthetic differences, such as the rear spoiler or the "turbine" 15" rims. Its engine meanwhile kicked it up to 200 hp with a V6 PRV, aided by a Garret T3 turbo. Two technical improvements on the GTA V6 Turbo that would allow it to rival its European counterparts.
