The Venturi 400 was the ultimate evolution of a line of cars developed by Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godfroy. It is the fastest French car ever produced, with a top speed of 290 km/h. Its V6 engine was equipped with two Garrett turbocompressors. The first of these models to receive carbon brakes was the road series of the Ventury Trophy. Only 15 units of the 400 were produced, and only 2 mark II were produced, distinctive thanks to their round rear lights.
