A sporty car of 1726 copies built in France, the Spider Renault signalled the end of the Alpine era... But also the beginning of the Renault Sport! Mechanically based on the famous Clio Williams (F7R 710, 2.0L engine and 150 hp), and its aluminium structure (for a total weight of 930kg), this model was built with elytra doors and had no windshield (at first), and demanded that its driver wear a helmet while driving.
