The 205 CTI was developed with the assistance of Pininfarina, and is very simply the cabriolet version of one of the most successful Peugeots ever made: the 205 GTI. Under the bonnet you’ll find a 1.6L GTI engine with a whopping 115 hp; consequently, a number of modifications were made to the chassis to ensure it remained safe to use with so much power. 27999 copies of this GTI were produced.
