In England and Switzerland, the Renault 5 Alpine Turbo was known as the Gordini Turbo. Only 300 models were ever marketed, of which 200 pour this Swiss version that is notable for its violet rims and its ostentatious “Turbo” on the lower sides. The mechanical side of things remains similar, with a turbo-compressed engine pushing 110 hp, albeit with an EGR system installed in response to anti-pollution norms.
