At the end of the 1980s, a style came from Germany that consisted in personalizing your vehicle. The Belgian distribution and import company Michel Malherbe Associés (DIMMA) decided to launch itself in the sector by proposing kits for Peugeot. With this “Turbo 16” kit, in reference to the T16 Groupe B, a favourite in rallying, Dimma acquired a partnership with Peugeot. Their sales naturally exploded. Thus, 1000 Dimma kits found buyers. The car was even imported to the United Kingdom where the English had fun grafting it a Cosworth engine up to 350hp!
