The BMW E30 is the most popular 3 Series generation. Produced for 12 years from 1982, it sold more than 2 million units. The M3 version was the first "M" to be developed in series by the brand's sports branch, BMW Motorsport GmbH. Of course, it was a great success and the Touring and Cabriolet versions also received a "conversion" to the M3 by the German company!
