In 1976 Alfa Romeo decided to launch a Coupé version of its Alfasud sedan. Its name was "Sprint". It was a name that reflected the company's ambitions for pleasure and sportiness. This model was designed by the creator of the famous DeLorean DMC-12, Giorgetto Giugiaro! Produced until 1989, this coupé sold over 120,000 units! Proof of its success, despite the fact that the "coupé sedan" trend was no longer in vogue.
