Although the Coupé fashion was slowly dying, back in 1976 Alfa Romeo decided to launch the Alfasud Sprint, a chirpy four-seat Coupé with fastback carrosserie and hatch. The resulting car most pleasant. The first Sprint had a 1286 cm3 with a nifty 76 hp. Esthetically it resembled the Alfa Romeo Coupé Alfetta GTV, but it is indeed an Alfa with its four round headlights and its center grill in the form of a reversed pyramid.
