Simon's Collection
“I have always collected small cars but I became a “real collector” around the age of 20. As for OttOmobile, I started in 2011 with the Golf 3 VR6. In my collection, I have a little over 400 models, mainly in 1/43e. At 1/18e, OttOmobile is the brand that I collect the most. The central theme of my collection is rallying. Afterwards, I fall in love with everything American and Japanese.
I like the OttOmobile brand because they offer a large majority of new models, especially in rallying. If I was not a fan of resin at the start, OttO was able to convince me thanks to an unbeatable quality/price ratio and much lower than current diecast models with openings.
My favorite model? This is a trick question, I love all my OttOs! Seriously, my heart holds Burns’ Subaru Impreza WRC’01 at the RAC Rally and Solberg’s Subaru Impreza WRC’08 in high regard. Special mention to the Skoda Octavia WRC which has just filled the void I had since my childhood! »
