The Xsara was designed to replace the ZX, all the while keeping what made it work: a discreet look with an exceptional chassis. However, thanks to its multiple victories in rallies with Sébastien Loeb, the chevron brand does not forget sportsmanship. This version of the car borrows from its cousin, the Peugeot 306 S16. With its self-directional rear axle, the agility of the Xsara serves as a benchmark for compact sedans. It has borrowed the famous 4 cylinder in-line 16V 1998 cm3 engine. This block, which is close to 7000 rpm, can push 167 horses and propels the Xsara beyond 220 km/h.
