The Fiat Coupé appeared in 1995, with its range modified in 1997 benefiting from 3 new engines, of which a 5 cylinder 2L 20 valve with a Turbo Garret T28 (1.2 bar) + intercooler. Pushing 220hp with an acceleration of 0 to 100km/h in 6.5 s, its maximum track speed was 250km/h. Fiat had never produced a series model as powerful and as fast in all the history of the brand, especially given the price/performance ratio, the retail price being below 30 000€, even for the leather series.
