This small Spyder convertible was manufactured from the base of the Fiat Punto while being equipped with the engine of the Fiat Coupé. With this model, Fiat was the forerunner of the “neo-retro” design which became increasingly popular in the 2010s. However, the Barchetta was released all the way back in 1995. It was produced until 2003, albeit with an interruption of a few months following the bankruptcy of the Maggiora company's historic factory.
