The idea for this Spider was born when Renault was presenting at the 1990 Paris Motor Show a concept car bearing the name of Laguna Roadster. The concept was radical, with no roof or windshield, doors with elytron openings, and a minimalist aesthetic. In front of the enthusiastic reactions of the public, Renault continued development on the model and decided to produce a small number of them at the former Alpine factory. While everyone expected to see the return of the Rédélé brand, the Spider was eventually released with the Renault Sport label. With its 930 kilos and 147 horsepower four-cylinder engine, it offers beautiful sensations, with the bonus feeling of the wind rushing through your hair.
