A true emblem for its time, this ultimate sports version of the Renault 21 model appeared in 1987. The queen of the motorway is equipped with 2L 4-cylinder engine pushing 175 horsepower, and can reach 227 km/h. Compared to its rivals, it was equipped with a turbo, much like all of the lozenge's sports cars. With its imposing bumpers, lights, rear wing and monogrammed ABS on the boot, this R21 is very distinguishable from the rest of its brethren. The Turbo had 13788 units produced between 1987 and 1992.
