The Ford Puma is a small coupe based on the Ford Fiesta and launched in the late 1990s. Made in Germany, this car is exclusively made for the European market where this type of small car is the most successful. The small Puma was produced from 1997 to 2001. In 1999, the Racing Puma was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. It is a sporty version of the small coupe, produced in the UK at the Tickford workshops. The Racing Puma featured a special body kit, sports brakes, 17" wheels, a Sparco racing interior and a Zetec 1.7 engine upgraded from 125 to 155 hp. Initially planned for 1000 units for the German and UK markets, this limited edition became a UK exclusive with only 500 units produced. It is now a true rarity!
