In 1978, Jean Ragnotti finished second in the Monte-Carlo in the general classification and won in his category. With this victory under its belt, Renault decided to launch a special series to celebrate this result. 3 months later, the Renault 5 TS “Monte-Carlo” was commercialised. This was a limited series produced to the tune of 2 400 units. Distinctive thanks to its yellow and red livery, its “Alpine” front bumper and its exclusive 3-spoke steering wheel, this special model is a real must-have for R5 fans.
