Competing for Lancia Martini in the World Rally Championship, the young Finnish prodigy Henri Toivonen also drives with Porsche in the European Rally Championship for the 1984 season. After numerous withdrawals and two podiums, Toivonen takes his first victory with the Porsche 911 SC RS during the Rally Costa Smeralda (in Sardinia). An event which counts towards the European Rally Championship. This is the very first victory for the Porsche 911 SC RS Group B at an international event!
